One in custody after deadly hit-and-run crash
A person has been taken into custody after a deadly hit-and-run crash Sunday evening in Denver’s Montbello neighborhood, Denver police said. Three vehicles were involved in the crash at East 46th Avenue and North Chambers Road.
One person was killed in the crash, according to the Denver Police Department. It’s unclear how many others were injured.
A 2014 Dodge Ram pickup truck left the scene of the crash, police said. The vehicle had a Colorado license plate.
The driver of the pickup truck was found and taken into custody, according to a tweet sent by the Colorado Bureau of Investigations.
