Naked man leads LAPD on a carjack police pursuit
LOS ANGELES, CA — A man apparently in need of some clothes and a car led police on a wild chase through South Los Angeles after carjacking a driver Tuesday morning. He was wearing only shoes at the time.
Los Angeles police officers were called to the scene at the 400 block of Broadway about 1:45 a.m. Tuesday where they encountered the suspect and gave chase, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The naked criminal fled but crashed the vehicle a short time later. The man suffered injuries in the crash and was taken into custody.
Police did not release the identity of the suspect and offered no other details about the events surrounding the naked caper.
