Driver with suspended driver license kills trick-or-treating teen
REVERE, MA — A Lynn man is being charged after he hit a teenage girl on her way to go trick-or-treating Thursday, according to the Suffolk District Attorney’s office. Wilkins Rosirus, 32, was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
Authorities said the girl was struck around 8:15 p.m. near American Legion Highway and Beach Street in Revere. She was crossing Route 60 with her two friends, who saw the incident.
“We all started screaming ‘call 911! Call 911!” Aya Beno, one of the girl’s friends, told WBZ. “She was walking ahead of us and the car was speeding and hit her.”
She was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital, where she is reported to be in stable condition, the DA’s office said.
